Leader in the installation, layout and services of professional kitchens, Provence Froid and its sixty employees have established themselves in France for nearly forty years, in the south-east of France. Technical expertise, prestigious references, the sharing of human values, a family history, all the ingredients are there for the SME to fully succeed in its missions in the great kitchen.
Prestigious references and renowned clients
“Today, a technician who joins our teams in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region is lucky enough to be able to work as much for a central professional kitchen which delivers no less than 3,000 meals a day as for kitchens which equip century-old castles in Aix-en-Provence, for example. Moreover, we work for the kitchens of renowned chefs as is the case, in Marseille, with chef Alexandre Mazzia, decorated with three stars in the Michelin guide.”, enthuses Romain Sube, director of Provence Froid, a subsidiary of the Odice group – number 2 in professional cooking in France. From layout to equipment repair, including site monitoring, the employees work together to offer their customers tailor-made services in the field of commercial catering (traditional restaurants, bistros, food courts), gastronomic catering (starred restaurants, palaces) and collective catering (central kitchens, company catering, communities).
Among its customers, Provence Froid has magnificent addresses such as the gourmet restaurant L’Oustau de Baumanière by chef Glenn Viel, 3* in the Michelin Guide, in Baux-de-Provence; the gourmet restaurant of chef Matthieu Dupuis Baumal 1* in the Michelin guide at the Château de la Gaude 5*, in Aix-en-Provence; the restaurant, in Marseille, AM of chef Alexandre Mazzia 3* in the Michelin guide.
The company, anchored in its territory, equips the kitchens of the CMA-CGM, the La Marseillaise Tower, the Grandes Halles of the Old Port in Marseille or the kitchens of the Nikki Beach in Saint Tropez, of the Hotel du Couvent in Nice and the Couvent des Minimes 5* in Mane.
Cutting-edge kitchen and industrial refrigeration professions
The talents of the family business are all experts in professional cooking and industrial refrigeration trades, from the layout and creation in the workshop of made-to-measure stainless steel and isothermal panels, through refrigeration engineering, up to installation, site management, after-sales service (SAV). They best meet customer expectations by always offering a guaranteed service thanks to their business expertise. This desire to rely on technology has enabled Provence Froid to develop its own tools. Indeed, belonging to a family and independent group, has made Odice a multi-brand kitchen company and allowed it to develop its own digital and technological tools.
“We can equip the equipment with a QR code system that allows the customer to request an intervention in real time, simply by scanning it with his phone. There are many challenges in terms of technicality and customer relationship management. It’s particularly motivating! ” explains William Follenbach, after-sales service manager for Provence Froid and guarantor of the quality and speed of intervention.
Tools to take into account, in real time, customer requests to which the after-sales service responds 7/7 and 24/24; but also for technicians to find on their tablet, the user manual, the maintenance manual, an exploded view of spare parts and the history of interventions that have previously taken place on this equipment with other technicians.
